Yael Stone

Stone was brought up within Sydney, Australia, where she was a student at the Newtown High School of the Performing Arts and The National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA). Stone started acting when she was a toddler. She played roles in Me Myself and The Farm. In 2008, during the Sydney Theatre Awards she was given the award for Best Newcomer aswell in the category of Best Supporting Artist, for her work on The Kid. In addition to her work in theatre, she has been on TV for supporting roles like All Saints and Spirited. In 2010 she was a part of 2011 in The Diary of a Madman. As a result of this role she received a nomination for The Sydney Theatre Awards for Best Supporting Actress. The Diary of a Madman was performed by the Brooklyn Academy of Music in New York. In March 2011, she returned Sydney for the lead characters for A Golem Story (a story about the character of a golem), Summer of the Seventeenth Doll as well as As You Like It.
